i'm playing in a tournament that started with 100 people. I've got a less than average stack and the blinds are going to eat me up if I don't make some moves. Chip leader is sitting across the table from me. I think I have about 15,000 in chips, chip leader has much more couldn't tell you how much. Blinds are 1 -2k, I'm in MP and try to steal the blinds with by betting about 5K. Chip leader cold calls and the flop comes . Not wanting to give up the hand I go allin for my last 10K representing the Ace. Chip leader calls instantly and I'm already thinking about what to eat for dinner when I get home. Chip leader triumphantly flips over , hoping for the ... backdoor flushdraw? Turn and river blank and I double up to a nice size stack. Chip leader continues to call huge bets and busts about 20 minutes later. I don't think I'll ever forget this hand since it was so shocking to see someone call such a substantial bet without even being able to beat a bluff.

Actually just thought of another call that was really bad and really funny that happened at my home game last week.

Occassionally I get some new players at my game that have no idea what they are doing. It's always really sweet when this happens. We're playing 20NL and the final board reads A5KQ7. Solid regular player puts the noob allin for her last $12. Noob calls quickly. Regular has AQ two pair. Noob slowly turns over her J2 and says "I'm not sure this is any good." After learning that a wrap around straight doesn't count she just laughs it off. God I hope she comes back!
