Personal Firewall

Postby iceman5 » Mon Jun 12, 2006 7:05 pm

Lately Ive been really looking into making sure Im protected from hackers and such. There have been alot of talk of Neteller accounts getting hacked and other non-pleasantries.

Ive always had a seperate poker bank account that NT is linked to, but there is now alot of money in that account. Ive now opened a 3rd bank account which I will use to keep all of my poker money seperate from my NT bank account which will only be used for transfers and will hold no balance.

Anyway, Im looking into firewalls. I know for a fact that I had ZoneAlarm on my desktop, but it doesnt seem to be there now. I just downloaded it again and it didnt say anything about it overwriting any files so it must not have been there. Does the free ZoneAlarm software delete itself after a trial period or something?

Also, I wanted to put ZoneAlarm on my laptop but I have McAfee personal firewall already on it. ZoneAlarm said it wouldt download unless I delete McAfee due to compatability problems. Im not sure if I should delete McAfee or not since I dont know if the free ZoneAlarm is going to disappear from my laptop after some period of time. Can anyone clue me in?

Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.
