Coolest Thing in Your House? Art, Furniture, Etc.

My friend who goes to RISD came to the apartment the other day for the first time and he said "I'm gonna paint you a painting." He came back a few days later with this and I think it's pretty cool. My desk is also pretty sweet, but I've posted a picture of it before so I'll just throw this up for me.

TV's don't do it for me, because there's so little worth watching.

I couldn't choose between these, so I've included them both. The Rolleiflex is an incredible piece of German engineering from the 50's. With more than 750 moving parts, it works as well today as when it was first made - try that test on your TV sets in 50 year's time - and with its Zeiss lens and medium format film it produces pictures far sharper than any digital camera yet invented.

The Linn is another beautiful piece of engineering, from Scotland. This example's from the '80s, it repoduces music beautifully and I wouldn't swap it for any CD player ever made.
