I gotta side with the liberal members of the board on this one.
#1 - She clarified her comment. It seems incredibly unlikely that she is encouraging a non-US citizen to vote.
#2 - She seems to be encouraging the illegal aliens and those under the age of 18 to take part in the democratic process, not by voting, but by helping the campaign in order to get out the vote. So what? Oh, GOD, not ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS!! Sheesh. This anti-illegal immigrant movement is so badly misguided and led by xenophobes that the debate can't ever get off the ground. Bush actually has some good ideas here - guest worker status and amnesty programs. There are tens of millions of people in this country illegally. Many thousands more enter every day. The practical problems with preventing illegal immigration are overwhelming. A $1B dollar border fence?? You have to be fvcking kidding me.
