My goodness, all this time I was wrong!

Using statistics from the National Safety Council (nsc.org), I have determined that UFC/MMA/Vale Kudo fighting is safer than:

1- Taking a shower (40 people died from contact with hot tap water in 2002)
2 - Taking a bath (132 died from drowning in a tub)
3 - Walking in the woods (13 people died from contact with venemous snakes and spiders)
4 - Playing with pets (18 died from being bitten or struck by a dog)
5 - Sleeping (a whopping 785 died from falling out of bed/chairs/furniture)

In fact, more people have died as a result of being an occupant of a streetcar in 2002 than have died in the long, revered history of Vale Kudo.

Does the fact that there were probably close to a trillion baths/showers taken mean anything with regard to these numbers? Is it possible that just a few more people have gone for a walk in the woods than fought in an MMA competition? I wonder how many people have pets, or live near folks with pets? Could it be possible that more people sleep than fight in an MMA competition? Should those numbers be taken into account when you say that Vale Kudo is so safe?

I guess the big question should be "Does kcb get the point yet?"

Literally millions of kids play football and soccer in this country alone. Last numbers I saw for high school football were something around 950,000 kids per year. Are there 950,000 UFC/MMA/Vale Kudo competitors fighting each week over a 3 month span?

Does kcb get the point yet?
