I've only played at a few poker rooms on the internet and am thinking of signing up to more to take advantages of bonus' etc.....

My question:

Are you able to sign up to different sites on the same network? Could someone give me an explaination of this through their experience.

The reason I ask is recently I tried to sign up to VC poker via their website however once I had downloaded the software, I tried to sign up for an account however I was told I already had an account on that pc?!?!
