So for those outside of Canada, er....Minnesota you probably don't know but it has been 10+ years for the Twins trying to get a new stadium, finally the damn state approved one for them, plus an on-campus one for the Gophers.

while I am a HUGE baseball fan and I so cannot wait for outdoor baseball I am happy this over, for ten + years we have had to listen to various politicians, teams, and other special interest groups bitch about this, now if the Vikings could only get one done everyone could shut up about it!

mostly I am excited for outdoor baseball! I am 30 and I have never seen the Twins play outdoors.

I second this. Since I moved last month it has been either about to happen or delayed every day in the papers. I have seen the Twins once this year and cannot wait to see them more. It is good to know I can put my heart into this franchise and not worry they are about to up sticks.

Now if only we can get the Vikings stadium sorted...

The governor is signing the Gopher bill at the U today!

Two down, one to go. I think the Vikes stadium will get pushed through next year, Ziggy will get r dun.

Although I am a diehard KC fan, living here in MN I do cheer for the Vikes (helps with family relations LOL), plus I am a big Twins fan. Their run in the central actually brought me back to baseball, I had not really cared since the strike and lost season in the early 90's!

Well, this might be a good thing, but never love the owners or Selig for making this happen...in this poker game, they should always be labeled, "VILLIAN".

"Million dollar play, ten cent finish."

"My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives."

"Laugh and the world stares at you; cry, and the world stares at you."
