ummmmmmmm... JJ... no offense... but NO... EVERY time i've gone to Vegas, I've rented a car... Vegas is made for renting... Every hotel valets for free... Cabs are expensive as sh*t... You won't even be able to GET a cab Fri or Sat night... You can rent a decent car from like Enterprise for about $30 a day, which is a HELL of a lot cheaper than cabbin..

Given that it's so cheap, it's better to get a car. Although cabs are not that expensive either, and there's the mini rail between the main hotels. I just prefer a car.

The problem with cabs doesn't really come when you're going between hotels... It comes when you go downtown ($20) or to the Rio, or anywhere really right off the strip, they start to buttrape you BIG TIME... And, that monorail thing is a scam...
