Bought the 50" Grand WEGA SXRD....Fuuuuuuuck is this thing awesome!!!! Ice, you were so right. We went to Circuit Ciity and saw both the 60" and the 50" on display. They blew all the other TVs out of the water. They had the 50" for about $400 less than anywhere else, plus they have that 30 price match thing. So we went ahead and bought it. Got it delivered and all set up and it's just unbelievable. Perfect size for our living room. I find myself watching things on Discovery and PBS that I have absolutely no interest in but it just looks so incredible I can't turn it off.

Only thing that's pissing me off is Time Warner charges another $5 for the "ESPN" package. It includes ESPN, some HD movie channel, and something else. Unbelievable how they nickel and dime you. I told them no but they already know I'll be getting it. No way will I be able to resist once football season rolls around.

Thanks everyone for your input and feedback. Made this purchase so much less stressful and smooth. I actually had a reasonable idea of what the hell I was looking at/talking about while in the stores.
