Another suited connector triumph but wanted to know what everyone thought about the betting amounts for this hand on the flop and turn. I raised some on the flop in hopes of getting a free card if I need one and to build the pot some in case I nailed my straight or flush. I didn't want to bet too much on the turn to allow him to get away from a hand like two pair. Any criticism welcome.

I love this play piers, you raise with a hand no one will put you on first. I really like the raise on the turn, this is a great tool that comes from limit that is very underused in NL. When you hit your hand it is hard to put you on a flush since your raise on the flop looks like you are trying to protect your hand vs a flush draw. That river card sucks, glad you didnt get draw out, well played.
