Finally had a nice online payday. I played a $20+2 on poker room. Really cold cards early. I got down to 1200 chips with the blinds at 200/400 I push all in with A7. Get called by AJ flop a 7 river a second one and double up. Then the fun started. I actually managed to win a coin flop with QQ vs AK and AJ to tripple up. Then from the SB I push all in with [kd] [10d] and get called by flop is somehow I manage to dodge all of his outs and double up again. Went into the final table #2 in chips, I call a raise from the SB with flop is [10s] . I check raise one of the shorties who calls with KQ and I dont improve. Very next hand QQ and I win another coin flop with AK. I stole a pot with AQ high and ended up the big stack. I pretty much cruised my way into heads up. I ended up going card dead vs a calling station. Finished 2nd won $396.

Played online for the first time in a couple days, I know Kenny will probably disagree with me here but Bodog really isnt that good anymore. I think them adding 6 max games killed some of the action at the full ring games and I think their moronic software changed chased away some customers. Friday and Sat nights used to be great, I played tonight at 6-7 pst and there were only 4/5 FR $100 games and a couple of them were avg pot size of $8. Kind of sad, Bodog used to be my favorite fish pond.

I did have a good day, the games were pretty tight and I switched to LAG mode. I raised pretty every pot I played. I turned a flush to bust TPTK after I check raised the flop with a flush draw. I sucked out on A10 he is the SB I have 108, flop is 1097. He checks I bet $4, he raises to $8. Turn is an A, he checks I check behind. River is a 6. He bets $32, I actaully considered folding. I call and he has A10. Nice $130 day for my efforts, maybe this is a sign of my rush to come.

The overbet on the river scared me a little. I definatly dont agree with pushing the river, with a 4 card striaght on the board it is going to be really hard to get a call from anything that I dont have beat and there will be times when villian has J8. The river overbet was either a weird bluff where he isnt going to call a reraise, a slow played hand that that he was trying to check raise a second time on the turn, or another 8 that I chop with.

The reason that I didnt include suits was the flop was rainbow and the turn completed the rainbow so suits were irrelavent, but yes I did ride the short bus to school, thanks for runbbing it in.

Of all the bitching I have done this session might take the cake for the most card dead I have ever had. I tried to get a screen shot of the little statistics box from the empire software but I all I can get is the whole screen and the box is to small to read. I am clearing the the $200 empire bonus. My hatred of the party skins is pretty well known and I do have to say that seeing the background make me want to tilt, but the $200 for 2k hands raked over .10 was just ot good to pass up.

I do like the fact that party now has a hige table max, I played 6 or 7 $25 PLO games, trying to work my way up to 8 but its been a while and with 7 I was still timing out and being forced to sit out. I have been playing really tight my VPIP is 13 % over 1k hands today. The games on Empire have been weird, it seems like people are throwing around chips like crazy but the table vpips are still a little low, and I cant seem to get action when I make hands. I only played one hand that was bigger than $25.


I was really happy at the way I played this hand, I jsut called the flop not wanting to get all in, in my usual position all in with the nuts being frerolled by a club draw. The turn is an anwsome card, now I just outdrew anyone with the same straight and I have the nut redraw, river just sucks ass.
