PICK MY FUTURE HOME...

Postby MVPSPORTS » Sun Apr 09, 2006 2:41 am

Okay, so I'm buyin a house in Vegas in the next month or so, but prolly wont end up living there for another 6 months... I just need to get the house when prices are relatively cheap (ie... 320k), since Vegas has become the #1 housing market in the country (passing FL, where I live and have an incredibly inflated house value (bought it a year and a half ago for $87k and now it's tilting $215k))...

SOOOOOOOOOO... I'm headin out there in a couple weeks to check out these 2 houses... Both have pros and both have cons... Don't let the pictures fool you, as one looks GIGANTICALLY larger than the other, when in fact they are about 200 Sq. Ft. from each other in size... So, help me pick... First off... they're both in the same development... Both have 2 car garages...

House #1...

Image

Stats...
$318k
Approx. 2100 Sq Ft
Comes in a 4/ 3 1/2 but I'm gonna get the 3/ 2 1/2 cause they're the same Sq Ft, so in the 3/2, everything is larger, and I don't have a family, nor will I...
3 stories tall
3 balconies - My FAVORITE feature
First level is a enclosed "mini suite", so I can rent it out if I want (You takin notes Piers???)

House #2...

Image

Stats...
$337k
Approx. 2479 Sq Ft
4/ 2 1/2
2 stories
1 small upstairs balcony
HUGE master...

So... whaddya think...?

Whichever one is best for me to stay at during tournaments in Vegas I suppose.

I dont care which one you buy, just as long as their is a nice guest bedroom for me to crash when I make my poker trips.

Having 3 balconies would be cool but it depends on what you can see from them. If its just a view of the neighbors house meh, but if has a good view than its really cool.

House one looks fun, the second looks like a miserable dolls house. House one has the balconies and the rentable 'mini-suite'(whatever that is), it is cheaper and I can imagine being a neighbour and seeing three as many people partying on the balconies.

After looking over the floorplans and as a potential occupant I definately like house #1. The minisuite is well, sweet.

Go with the 2 story house. 50% less chance of death by staircase fall when you're drunk.
