River Belle is trying to destroy my mind

Postby Derk » Tue Feb 28, 2006 6:03 pm

Man, so after talking to CFlannagan on Prima one day I found out he was doing some bonus at River Belle, so I figured hey, if it's good enough for a BTPer, it's good enough for me. Cleared the bonus in a day. You know how poker places send you "Welcome" emails or a users guide after you sign up? Well, let's take a journey through my inbox to see what I've got from River Belle:

If you actually READ the emails (what's inside them, that is), they're likely to make you lose IQ points, not laugh, unfortunately.

From the Day 16 guide:

If you're new to poker, or looking to improve your game, then our beginner tables are for you! With stakes as low as 0.02/0.05 and a buy-in of only $0.50 it's the perfect way to get your game on!

Today's Trivia!

What is the lowest buy-in for the Beginner Hold'em Games?
*$2.00
*$0.50

hurrrrrrrrr

Edit: edited for clarity.

What are the T&C of the RiverBelle bonus? What levels can it be cleared at, how many raked hands, etc. Thanks.

HI Folks,

River Belle Online Poker here.

Derk
Thanks a bundle for your comments. You'll be happy to know that your (and others) thoughts on the daily e-card tips have been noted and filtered through our orginazation and as a result we're scaling down the tips mailers each day. Our intention with these e-cards is to help players ease into finding their way around the software, learning how to fund their accounts and giving information to try and make the playing experience as comfortable and rewarding as possible.

As in your case, this can irritate seasoned players who understand the internet poker environment but overall it is to familiarize a new player with our poker room. It's definitely not intended to drive you crazy, so our apologies if that's the way you felt but these mails will be brought down to a minimum going forward.

Then to Rhound50 and the others who did have bonus issues. We encountered some problems with the backend systems for the bonus due to the massive response and take up and we have now addressed the issues and the bonus should be autocrediting as per normal (within the timeframe stipulated by the T & C).

Hope that clarifies some of this for you folks. If you need any help concerning bonus or service issues, please don't hesistate to PM us.

Best Wishes,
River Belle Online Poker
