Be glad your opponents refuse to fold; if they didn't, you just might go broke.

I've just never played ANY game at party that someone would classify as "rockish", and it threw me off guard...

I 9-tabled party's NL100 during the time BOTH bonuses were available and the games were certainly soft, although I wouldn't say rockish soft more..weak/tight AND maniac soft, sometimes you'll get on a table where the players will always check to you when they miss and fold to a bet after the flop, and these players will ALWAYS fold to your CBs unless they hit the flop hard and never try any "fancy stuff" like flat calling and leading into you on the turn.. and then you'll find the players who do crazy shit like re-raise pf with T2s and will bet the whole way for you, it's just a matter of finding out who is who and beating them that way.. i wouldn't say it's 'rocky' when you compare it to empire at the last bonus before the split at nl25, it's probably a bit tighter than it was a few months ago but it's certainly still very fishy, imo..
Poker is silly.

It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.

Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.

When I play a patient and relaxed game I win - that simple.

Yes, their rake structure works like this........

If the pot is $20 they would rake a dollar. But say on the river you moved all in for $90, and the other guy folds, your rake would then be 3 dollars because they count the rake with your 90 dollar bet included
Hope this helps.

I'm 8tabling Party $200 at the moment and it depends on time/table selection. If I play during the day (US PST), then its not uncommon where everyone at the table is < 25% VPIP. At night, though, during peak hours, I usually have to only shuffle through 8-10 tables before I find 8 juicy ones. So I just LAG it up during the day and TAG at night.

Interested in Pacific and Paradise, how many $100 and $200 FR games do they have going at peak hours?
