I was looking forward to calling had UTG not raised. Sandwiched between UTG and the SB, I was afraid SB might re-raise all-in (he only had $30 left in this quickly escalating pot). I decided I was probably short of the equity to make this a +EV call all-in and that the strength of my hand lies in it's implied odds on the river if I can catch my card. However, only my flush and gutshot straight draw are to the nuts. Had I held A2QQ, I would have called. Holding A3QQ, I decided to fold. You can guess the river card. What do you think? I was right with my read that SB was itching to push all-in after UTG's raise. I initially was relieved that I folded when SB pushed. I would have had to have folded if UTG then pushed all-in over the top of SB's re-raise. Too bad, that would have been a perfect river card for me. The equity numbers are below...

gooper, your HU numbers are worst case scenarios. i don't think that you can really put UTG's range to only those kind of rock solid hands (all AK except one JJ).

there are a lot of A2 and A3 hands against which A3QQ is not such a dog.
