I get
[8h][Td][Jc] in the CO, and limp after a few others. Villain in BB raises pot. I'm the only caller.
Flop ($20):
[6h][9s]. Villain bets pot, I call.
Turn ($60):
Villain bets pot, I call.
River ($180):
. Villain pushes last $110 or so, I call.
Question: how important is having folding equity on the flop and taking control over the hand (obviously on the turn I don't have much FE left unless he was on a pure bluff)? I simply played the odds here, which was +EV, but maybe a more aggressive line would have been better.
