I was in EP on a fairly loose passive table and I picked up in EP. I limped then folded to a LP pot raise.

My questions are
1) Do you think this hand is strong enough to play for 1 bet in EP?
2) Do you think this hand is strong enough to call a raise HU OOP?

I guess I'd limp it. And call a HU raise.

Limping with it is fine, but if you are pretty sure that the preflop raise is an AAxx hand then dump it, there aren't enough aces left to draw at (and it one hits it will get the IR his set. If you think the pfr is an A2 hand then I'd dump it as well unless I was multiway.

That being said, in a loose passive game I love the hand if I can see a flop with 5:1 odds on it.

1) i like it on loose passive tables.
2) i would call a min-raise (great odds), but not a pot raise.

234x is a dog with any x except an A. fold pre-flop.

I'm not wildly keen on it unless double suited or the X is something otherwise useful/connected. I dump it OOP (certainly to a raise) although I limp in LP or in the blinds. You need to hit some fairly specific flops really.
