Today was a tough day. I started out losing like 3 buyins in the first hour or so. I clawed back from my low point of around 4 buyins down to finish up over 1/2 a buyin in 3,100 hands. I would have been up so much more but it seemed like every time I 3-bet, villain either had or caught a hand. So I got stacked 5 times in reraised pots and lost a bunch in a number of other hands where I had nothing or whatever.

I got stacked 6 times total. Yay me.

1. AK vs KK AIPF. I shoved over a 4-bet here, villain was very aggro.
2. QQ vs AK AIPF. I called a 4-bet shove here.
3. Turned top 2 against a set. I could have got away from this one and saved $200 and would have if I wasn't playing 6 tables.
4. AA vs turned set in reraised pot.
5. KQ vs KK on a Q high board in a reraised pot. I probably should have folded this one given the board was monotone and I had none of the suit and villain shoved flop over my CB.

Villain was a 18/12 type so he has 33/99 like always. I think my turn bet is super standard but calling his shove is donktastic IMO as I doubt this guy ever does this with a draw or AQ. I actually thought of laying it down but then when pressed for time I went with "I have top 2, its a cooler if I get stacked".

I guess the only other hand that's possible for him is [Td], but in the cold light of day it's still a fold. I don't think too many would fold it at the time, though.

Out of interest have we tangled on Cake before BBB? My SN was Semillon for the last 6 months until today...

We played at the same table a little bit at NL400. I don't think we tangled much at all. All I remember is one hand where it was 3 way to the river and OOP guy bet big, I folded and you called. You had a bluff catcher and won the pot but I folded a better hand than you so I was totally owned. This was probably in December.

I only play on Cake occasionally, like maybe 1 evening a week.

Finally got some luck at NL600. PT shows me up $1300 today but my balance went up $1600. I guess a good problem to have but I hate having hands go missing.
