Would You Vote for a Mormon???

Postby Johnny Hughes » Fri May 11, 2007 7:01 am

I would not. My ex-boss was a Mormon. He selected another Mormon as his research partner. He had the power to hire three people. He hired three Mormons, including his wife.

The Mormon Church is the supreme political power in Utah. There are still wide areas and whole towns run by sects and polygamists. The State of Utah allows them to break the laws.

Here's what Rommey said in a Sixty Minutes interview.

Romney acknowledges that voters may have a problem with his religion's history of polygamy. "That's part of the history of the church's past that I understand is troubling to people," he says. The practice, outlawed before 1900, is equally troubling to him. "I have a great-great grandfather. They were trying to build a generation out there in the desert and so he took additional wives as he was told to do. And I must admit, I can't image anything more awful than polygamy," he tells Wallace.

Be glad your opponents refuse to fold; if they didn't, you just might go broke.

I think poligomy is cool, especially if the guy has it set up so all the wives work and he does not work. It is kinda freaky seeing how the women seem pretty brainwashed on TV shows about them. It was also amazing that one powerful dude who had a lot of control in one of the mormon area's basically kicked all of the teenage boys out of the town so that the old dudes whould have no competition for the teenage chicks lol I would not have believed that if I didn't see it reported on TV with interviews by people involved, etc.

But Romney is a dickhead. I live in Boston and we got rid of that POS and I want him to stay gone. F him. Politicians are whores. If one of them got on TV and said "I'm a whore. My plan is to lie to you and emotionally manipulate you in order to get my own selfish needs met at your expense while pretending that I was trying to help you" I would probably vote for them.
If you want to improve, be content to be thought foolish and stupid.
