Who's the bigger a-hole...

Postby MVPSPORTS » Mon Feb 20, 2006 2:56 am

I'm in the middle of tiling my bathroom, so I'll make this brief... Barry Bonds says he's gonna retire, stating how hard his life is swingin a bat 4 times a day and being a shitty outfielder... I mean, it's HARD to show up to work, get dressed, sign autographs (oh, he doesn't...), when at the end of the day, all he's got is $20 mil in his bank account... Douchebag...

Versus... Rickey Goddamn "Stickey Ickey" Williams... Has this douchebag ever heard of drinkin a gallon of water the day of his test???? Or that clean out the system crap they sell at GNC... Watching him come back, and having to embrace him reluctantly as a Dolphins fan, this just feels like a gigantic kick to the groin... Fuggin ahole..

Versus... Terrell Owens... Nothin much needs to be said here...

So, out of these 3 SUPER examples of humanity, which would you choose if you had 10 minutes, a sledgehammer, 5 rusty nails, a gallon of sulfuric acid, and some bleach... Then, spend an hour slammin their testicles in a car door...

Please discuss...

TO by far.

For what its worth, Barry doesn't know what he's doing

Now I am from the Bay Area but I'm a huge A's fan, still I respect the man and he is one of the greatest hitters of all time.

Ricky, yeah he abandoned his teammates but he did comeback (if only for money, probably) and still put together a decent season.

TO is just horrible, he trashes his quarterback, holdsout and screw the rest of his teammates, and in general seems to be horrible.

Golden... As far as I've heard, Bonds reported in USA Today I think that he's gonna play this one last year and then he's done... Then he goes on and on and on... BAH... Stickey Rickey has reportedly failed YET ANOTHER drug test... Faces a 1 year suspension a couple months before they could have hopefully traded him for a halfway decent draft pick... And, TO is ... well, TO... Cockmonkey supreme...

I vote for Barry Bonds.

Ricky Williams is equally dumb and selfish. I don't think he's an ahole though. Just really dumb.

Terrell Owens is a punk, but he's really pathetic if you think about it. Here's a guy on top of his sport (in terms of ability) and he is so preoccupied with trying to prove that he doesn't have to "dance for the Man" (whoever that is) that he throws dirt in everyone's eye. I feel sorrow for him like I do the grade school bully who's really just pathetic. I promise you, he will never be happy in his life. Never. He will have a perpetual chip on his shoulder.

Now Barry Bonds, he tops my list because he's turned me against the sport I've loved for decades. He's not just a prick, but he's trying to mess with the fabric of history by breaking baseball records that are in many ways timeless while using illegal substances. That's an ahole! It also doesn't hurt his case that he's a prick to everyone he talks to and has wonderful off the field credentials like a having a child out of wedlock with a porn star. Lovely.

At least RIcky only hurt himself (mostly) he didn't shit on his teamates behind thier back and all the other crap Owens does

However I still have to vote for Bonds. That dude is a total prick and a cheat. At least Owens doesn't cheat at his sport (although he is a donk too)

Anyway I should find this article I read. There is this guy who studies home run distances. He has kept records of EVERY home run ever hit in the majors and how far they went. Basically every major league hitter from the dawn of time had his home run distances decreased as he aged (seems to make sense) until the Bonds/McGwire/Canseco/Palmerio era.

These guys had hit some of the longest home runs EVER after they were in their 30's. His contention was the vast majortiy of major league players peeked in terms of home run distance around 27, but Bonds started hitting his longest home runs AFTER the age of 35. In fact something like 10 of the top 20 longest home runs EVER hit were hit by Bonds/McGwire after the age of 35.

it is a pretty eye opening article.
I will see if I can find it
not to hijack this thread into a new tanget
