What Do You Watch?

Postby MTPaid » Tue Nov 07, 2006 1:37 am

My DVR seems to be filling up pretty quickly and regularly lately so I thought I'd start this post. List only shows that you make a point to watch every week. Either set your schedule around them or DVR them. Re-runs are ok I guess if you try to make it a point to watch them regularly. No sports or poker shows because for many of us, those are a given.

Me: In no particular order...
Lost
Heroes
South Park (sometimes I forget to DVR it though, but I'll usually catch repeats)
Drawn Together
Cheers (funny no matter how many times I see it. I'll look for reruns on TV)

Just found a station on Direct TV that has Welcome Back Kotter every Friday, so that's going on the DVR too starting this week.

Currently DVRing Studio 60, but undecided on it.

WTF DRAWN TOGETHER IS AWFUL.

If you like cooking at all, Good Eats is awesome.

Cheap Seats is great.

Futurama is good.
Boy, you got me confused with a man who repeats himself.

Now that baseball is over there is nothing worthy on TV that I will make a point to watch. That may change when 24 starts again, but until then, TV = weak.

Am I the only one who watches "the office" ?

I watch
The office
Sports (football, hockey, baseball) when I can

Things i watch when I can catch them but don't go out of my way to watch
simpsons
futurama
family guy
Any Law and Order

Also I like Extreme home makeover. Mostly because it is a good feel good show where they actually help people who really need help. Mostly my wife watches it but sometimes I get hooked. Also since I am an architect i have some interest in some of the houses and buildings they do

goddamn bri you watch some TV huh

I'll bite:

Lost (bar none my fav show of all time)
Heroes (top notch so far)
Battlestar Galactica (about as far from the cheesy ass 70's version as possible - just got through season 2.5 on dvd)
Survivor (sent applications/tapes several times)
the amazing race

sports and poker of course

i think thats it

before i got married and had kids i dont think i watched 1 regularly scheduled tv series between the years 1990-2002. not joking. I never saw a single episode of seinfeld till the repeats.

used to watch the sopranos but that shit feel off the cliff some time in season 4.

Allstar, did you watch season 6 of the Sopranos?

The recent series was the best ever I thought. Series 4 & 5 weren't very good, but I found series 6 to be a somewhat darker affair with less wiseguy humour.
