You ever listen to some of FDR or Eisenhower's speeches? They just don't bear any resemblance to the kind of crazytalk coming out of the Oval Office in the last five years or so.
The one lesson of human history is that the status quo never lasts. It isn't the same old BS.. the changes the GOP have made in the way the country operates aren't going to be undone. I don't claim to know exactly what form of government the US is going to settle into, but it definitely won't be representative democracy. It might even be that such a thing isn't possible in the age of the Internet. I do know I want to ride out the storm somewhere nice and out of the way.
What to do with all this money?!?!!?
