Was I ever this bad at poker? Hilarious video

Someone who clearly knows very little about poker is demoing one of those poker odds calculating programs. He demonstrates the program through his plays in a SNG.

Watch him on the bubble open-limp on the BTN with 88, open-limp the SB with ATo, open-push AA for 30BBs... and just all the stupid stuff he says. Like when he open-limps he'll say stuff like "as the program tells me, my pot odds were even and I should call". He clearly has no understanding of the importance of pot odds.

This video helped me understand how some players can play so terribly - and some of them even talk about poker terms like "pot odds" with little understanding of their application.

This program at least correctly tells you what the pot odds are and your odds of improving. It's a completely legit program, but I really do not recommend it for anyone. It works for cash, tourneys, play money, whatever.

He folded the 88 because he "has a feeling he has a jack..." and he's "been watching". I think that 88 hand is the funniest part of the video.

With the 88 hand, if you look closely, it tells him he has the odds to call the river bet. Yet he folds. Great way to demo your program - not even going with the advice offered.
