Be glad your opponents refuse to fold; if they didn't, you just might go broke.

I agree with Rhound and KJo (even though I also agree that this season kind of sucks so far).

5/10 nl online players would get crushed in this game, all day every day. The differences between online and a solid live game are astronomical that I think the analogy of Madden to the NFL fits fine.

There's a reason people don't CRAI every other hand like every BTPer seems to do. It's a bad play. It's almost never the best play to make, but it works online because of all the over aggressive donks that play there.

Saying that the best players in the world suck because they aren't aggressive enough is just ridiculous.

A great 5/10 online player could hardly get crushed, when he never has to play a big pot (unless he wants to) and is virtually never put to a decision for his whole stack.

Thats the way they play on that show.

I never said these guys suck (although a few of them do). I said the best online players would beat these guys. Im still not convinced that these guys are the best live cash players. Negraneau is well documented as one of the best tourney player alive but in cash games hes flat out a calling station.

Also, the Madden comparison is bad. One if a real football game and one is a video game about football. Completely different skill set.

A better comparison would be a poker player and a guy writing a book about poker. Just because he can write about it and sound like he knows what hes talking about doesnt mean he can play it in the heat of the moment.

There's a difference between a calling station and a Loose Passive.

One of them wins.

Having 2 donks at a table is plenty to make any game beatable, even if every other player is world class.

Some of those guys just happen to be NLHE cash donks, plain and simple.
