I'm generally appalled, horrified and aghast that Pride fighters are being hand picked and brought into the UFC and that the conjecture about Pride and UFC operating as separate entities appears unfounded (bringing Henderson into UFC confirms this I'd say)
As to whether the UFC has the balls to bring the large number of Pride fighters who aren't english speakers is another worry, especially as it's enirely possible that each UFC title could be owned by Brazilians, Japanese and Russians.
I'm not really sure as to how the better quality Pride fighters will be treated by the UFC, giving them instant title shots appears wreckless; either you end up with champions that booing morons at live shows don't know/care about (Rampage????), or they lose and you seem to have to build them back up.
A good fighter could easily lose 3 fight in a row and be the 4th best fighter in world, but how can the casual fan differentiate them from a Robbie Lawler or Vernon White.
Random points -
Chute boxe wins will be a lot less impressive as they won't be able to soccer kick their opponents heads off.
How the hell are they going to hype Fedor? He doesn't speak a word of english, is calm and isn't full of steroids. His fights aren't flash, he basically dominates and dismantles.
At least Sylvia can go, but is Mark Hunt over 265lbs???
As the UFC seems intent on hyping the lightweights, are they going to have to split then and the wleterweights into a Bushido equivalent, because ticket sales would sure ensure it (unfortunately) does not survive.
Plz don't bring in Arona.
Def no space for Lindland now! LOLOLOLOLOL
Comments and opinions on how things could pan out please. I know it's too early to tell but this is the internet, I wanna SPECULATE!
