I tried doing my first Casino bonus the last 2 nights

Didn't go so well. I deposited $80 in Will Hill Casino and got $80 bonus credited to my account. I needed to wager $2000 to clear the bonus. Then I printed out a black jack chart from Wizard fo Odds for BJ basic stratedgy and went to work playing 2GBP bets every hand. The bonus was gone in 393 hands which was only about ~70% of the wagering requirement to make the bonus withdrawable. Obviously I stopped at that point as I didn't want to lose any of my own money.

I'd like to know if anyone else has tried doing this "casino bonus whoring" stuff. And if any of you have could you please help me figure out what I'm doing wrong if anything. From some of the stuff I've read around the net this is supposed to be easy money but in my very short experience so far it seems far from easy. Easy to play yes, but not easy to have any left over when the Wagering requirement is completed.

I tried it with the crypto casinos one month, using up the 25 pounds or dollars I had in each. I had a quick and brutal plan, stick all the bonus on one number at roulette, if I won, I'd complete the bonus with minimum bet blackjack, so I'd be sure of profit given the small losses basic strategy would give.

I either wanted it to make it worth my time or not. Needless to say, I never hit, but as I wasn't playing my money I wasn't too bothered.

Something I noticed from the Will Hill T&C's was that the remaining wagering requirement rolls over to the next month and gets added on I think. Or maybe I read it wrong.

Anyways, that was my brutal stab at casino whoring, I'm soooo shocked it didn't work!

Yeah, I think the WR does carry over but unless I can figure out what I'm doing wrong that aint gonna matter because I won't be going back there anyway.

Well playing basic strategy only reduces the houses edge to around 0.5% but they obviously base the wagering requirement around know that people will just play basic startegy and so unless you bet big and win early on, you're screwed.

My house mate has made money from them a few times with some all in hands early on and then if he wins a few, he plays minimum bet until he made they money (cheesy poker references intended)

the BJ bonus whoring is a high variance proposition in the short term. if you have a big enough BR and stick to it, it is usually +EV... although relatively small.

i think BW has a casino whoring section. also, the members if 92offsuit.com discuss some BJ casino whoring experiences.

poker is much more +EV, imho.
