Well, I would like to say that I am much impressed with your real life achievements /background. Nice job, sir!

And one poker question.
It seems that the younger crowd of players here is often more prone to risk taking, moving aggresively in stackes. While there is a lot of posters, including you, Excession, k3nt (to name a few), who seem to start earlier with the poker thing, have more experience, but still prefer to play at the same stakes for a long time.
Do you think it is just the age thing? Readiness for the risk taking?
Is there other reasons in your opinion?

Texas is talking about a change in the gun laws. I think it means you can shoot somebody easier, not if your life is threatened. Is that right or close???

What do you thing and what to police officers in general think of the loose gun laws in Texas??? I know a lot of seniors, some whose deck is sky a joker, who are packing heat and are as dangerous as Billy the Kid.

Based on those facts, i would say he needs to plead out. Hes going down. You cant leave a fight, get a gun and then come back with it and claim self defense or anything like that.

Also, 9 shots is a bit excessive.

Less than a year ago. His name was J.J. something. He was a Tech student. It was in the newspapers. He said being robbed at poker had him packing barking iron. I'd set the over and under on his time at a nickel. This is Texas.
