Shortest B&M session ever

Postby iceman5 » Wed Nov 30, 2005 1:31 pm

SO I drive an hour and 15 minutes to Winstar casino in Oklahoma to play some poker. I get my chips and get ready to play. I get 12 hands in and then call back to Dallas to take the day off. Low and behold, this is the one Tuesday in the last 7 years that Ive worked in this offivce when I cant get the day off. We have 6 detectives on my shift and 4 of them have already taken off ON A TUESDAY. I cant remember that EVER happeneing before.

If I thought there was even a remote possibility that I couldnt get off, then obviously I wouldve checked first.

So I had to turn right around and drive back to Dallas and go to work.

The one bright side was that I was +$200 in those 12 hands (of which I played 2).

Hey, the brighter side...you didn't have a chance to give it back.

You also set the world record for the briefest visit back and forth across the Red River which separates us true Texans from every one else.
