Lost Highway? The 'solution' to it is somewhat similar to the themes of Mulholland Drive.

Also,

Infernal Affairs is a pretty complex asian film that might not be a mind bender but is extremely well made, it is the basis for recent Scorcese film ''The Departed'

Unfortunately for the Brits, it was on Channel 4 last night I think. The sequels are on tonight and tomorrow, a friend says #2 it pretty good, though I'm not sure if watching the other two will act as spoilers for the original which is definitely worth watching.

If you like War movies from a different perspective...

Stalingrad (1993)
"Stalingrad" follows the progress of a German Platoon through the brutal fighting of the Battle of Stalingrad. After having half their number wiped out and after being placed under the command of a sadistic Captain, the Lieutenant of the platoon leads his men to desert. The men of the platoon attempt to escape from the city which is now surrounded by the Soviet Army.

I have just watched The Edukators, a film I've had for ages but Tyrannics recommendation reminded me about it.

A rather good film I'd say, deals with the idealism of youth and the way those values can change over time. I thought the female character was well acted and various aspects of the film were well directed as they could have seemed too far-fetched.
