Shamrock, you don't need to buy and install a 2nd graphics card. You just need to replace your card with one that has 2 monitor outputs. (If stealth meant to say what I just did, then forgive me stealth)
Your usual standard card comes with one connector, a 15-pin VGA connection that everyone is used to.
Nowadays, some mid to high level cards come with a VGA connector AND a second DVI connector too. (DVI is some better standard, that I'm not to up to date on what exactly its improvements are.)
BUT....... although the DVI connector is TOTALLY different shape to a VGA connector, new cards usually come with a DVI to VGA converter, that will let you plug in a 2nd monitor that has a normal VGA connection.

(The 3rd connector in the middle, the round black one, is the TV-OUT connection. No explanation needed.)
