PSP Advice

Postby T-Rod » Fri Oct 27, 2006 2:55 pm

Okay techies, help me here. I'm thinking of buying the g/f... ump... fiance a PSP for X-mas or just because. She has a Gameboy now from 1941 i think and loves Tetris and Mario Bros.

So is the PSP worth it? Do I need extra memory sticks for her and her basic needs? Game recommedations that are more along the Tetris/Mario Bros line?

P.S.

Be glad your opponents refuse to fold; if they didn't, you just might go broke.

I have both (received both from Poker Fantasy as promotions back in the day). Each of course has its +'s and -'s. PSP battery life sucks, but that's because the screen is much bigger and prettier than the DS. PSP game selection isn't the greatest, especially for a lady I'd think they'd prefer the DS. Get her a DS Lite and the New Super Mario Bros, everytime girls come by and see Super Mario World going on the SNES they rush to it.

Another noob question: Will old Gameboy games work on the new DS or do I just rebuy them.

Get the psp and use a downgrader off the internet to erm downgrade it.

Then you can download games to ahem *cough* test from the internet and theres also many emulators(and all sorts of other programs) including all the old nintendo stuff available on the net, so you can fill the memory stick full of all those old classics.

Locoroco will probably go down well to.
