No team can sustain the injuries and defections (coordinators) and expect to stay at the level theyve been at.

These arent the same Pats. Theyre wearing the same uniforms, but its not even close to the same team.

Heart and determination can only get you so far.

Well, they certainly overcame a fair amount of injuries in the past but right now their D is really really funked up but yes, It is difficult to fill the shoes of Rodney and Seymour...

With that said, the Pats cannot hang there hat on just the injuries....its one thing to get beat up but they played fundamentailly poor as well....lots of extra yards for Edge after the initial hit....some guys way way too wide open.....even the special teams did not play well allowing Rhodes to set up great field position.....

Well the playoffs are a long ways away....hopefully they can patch up the D somewhat, get the running game going and see how far Brady can carry them come December...and hopefully beyond!

I do agree that the Colts would have the edge against all but they are beatable...don't get too excited over the Pats pathetic performance!....a team like Pittsburgh that can control the clock AND play D cold keep it very close....

Hey, do you think they will take TO back? or is just too late???

I'm a big fan of how that game was coached. I can't think of another coach in the league who'd go for it on 4th down in the first quarter. Most guys would be more concerned with keeping the score respectable. this may not be the season, but the Pats should be back soon enough.
