Speaking of the SG, did anyone read his bitchfeast about busting out of the WSOP in 3 hours? Oh...My...GOD! What a dumbass. He called a large preflop raise with K/10, flopped top two, got all in and lost to AK when an A fell on the river. Sure, he was ahead when the money went in but you can't possibly do well when you call preflop raises with KTos. If you're a good player, and you have a good read that this guy is opening with any two, then you can push back preflop, but I still wouldn't call. Then he went on to say it's a big luckfest (somewhat true) and no pro will ever have a chance to win again. The part that bugged me the most was that he said something like "No one has heard of any of the people at the final table this year". Um hello? Allen Cunningham? He was only PLAYER OF THE YEAR last year. I wrote SG an email after that one. Natuarally it wasn't in his next mailbag. Pussy.

yeah the sports guy in general is pretty funny but as a non-boston resident certains thing bother me

1. his boston articles have gotten to the point where I don't read them. They are just not fun for me since I don't root for any of his teams

2. Anything poker related

3. anytime he gets sort of high and mighty about other writers. All columnists for sports are opiniated, it's their job

however for the most part he is funny. His mailbag columns are always good, and he is one of the few writers who discusses the NBA that I can read.
