I was 4 tabling 10 handed 2/4 and 3/6 and hating it.

Now I two table 5/10 or 10/20 6-max, and am enjoying my poker after a long time.

Redhouse, that's pretty interesting. Why the difference?

I was playing 1c/2c NL at Ultimate Bet. By the time 2004 ended, in my first 6 weeks of playing, I was up roughly 90 bucks in 90 hours of play.

Which, actually, works out to about 22 PTBB/hour, so not too shabby. :)

I think I played at least 40% of my hands back then, though I didn't have PokerTracker so I didn't know for sure. I know that T8o was a limp from pretty much anywhere, every time.

I didn't have CJ's problem, though: I was never weak-tight. I was throwing money around like it was only pennies. And I was reading this forum regularly, so I was learning some terms and thoughts, even though I didn't know how to apply them.

Xaston, I I think you need to reread TOP again.

Anyways a year ago, I was a decent poker players. One that played tight and won by playing my cards and winning when other people dontated to me. I have learned a lot in a year since joining BTP.

Some important things I have learned; TW likes men , Monk likes farm animals, and MVP well he would hump anything including a catchers mitt.

Ok seriously I really have learned a ton from reading BTP. When I started here, I thought I was a good player, but had some really big holes in my game and knowledge of the game. Reading posts from Ice, Mad Genius, and TUP in the early days really helped me gain knowledge and understanding of the finer points of poker.
