If the Packers were stupid enough to know that the Pats knew their signals / plays and kept using the same signals / plays then they deserve to get drummed.

That doesnt make sense. The play calls are very complex with colors and words and things like that. They could easily change the color code or whatever and that would throw off the Pats.

Also, I believe this only involves defensive play calls since the offensive plays are given to the QB thru his helmet and not thru any signal that could be videotaped and looked at later. I dont think theres any accusations of the Pats intercepting the audio to the helmets. They just like to jam the signal somehow (so Ive heard).

I think the punishment is pretty fitting. I am loving Roger Goodell.

I predicted prior to the announcement a 3 pronged punishment. Fines, picks and suspension. I thought it would be a $500K fine to Belichik and $500K for the team. 3rd rounder taken away and a 4 game suspension for Belichik. So overall the level of punishment was comparable to what I thought. Goodell said the reason he didn't suspend was because draft pick losses are a more long lasting punishment.
