If you stay downtown you can take the bus to the strip for $5 unlimited usage for 24hr. Or you can get a month long pass for like $40 or so i think. I would not recommend the Plaza cause they usually only have 2/4 limit games going. Binions is much better and they have a cheap poker rate ($28 during the week $50ish on fri and sat); however you are suppose to play 4hr per day there to get it. ALso they give $2 per hr in comps which you can use for food which is cheap a Binions. So... if you play some 1/2nl for 4hrs a day you get $8 free food which will cover one meal plus you get the cheap room rate.

Other option would be Budget suites for $240 per week. THey have 3 near the strip. Also, renting a car could be cheaper than taking taxis everywhere (taxis are expensive). Id recommend Enterprise because they only charge an extra $5 per day for being under 25.
