I have a .38 revolver for shooting people up close and a .22 long barreled semi automatic Ruger for shooting people at more distance. It s Texas.

I think a revolver is far more reliable for home protection than a semi-auto because the semi-auto might jam. Guns are only for self protection. If I knew anyone other than the house man carried a gun into a gambling joint, I'd do the ole heel and toe out of there. Anyone who violates the gun laws is crazy.

There hasn't been any violence in a poker game here since...well, last night, when two men were stabbed.

Once in Odessa, four men were playing poker and all four were shot to death.
Three of the guys in the game started shooting. One ran next door and beat on the door of the neighbor who shot him to death.
