You need to use a VPN (virtual private network) and access you computer remotely.

Then there is two methods.

The first one is simply using it remotely, but its slow and you will not be able to play more than 2 tables.

Alternatively, you can use your UK connection to access internet from US. This is the best solution but its risky.

If something happens to your VPN and and the poker client tries to connect again from US connection, then your accounts will be instafrozen.

Its possible to prevent this and you need some not-that-easy tech work to set it up properly.

I'm quite sure that there are a lot of 2+2ers using VPNs to do this but they dont want to share info.
