yes, they make it all worthwile.
There is a curling center here (where the american second plays) and I am actually thinking of taking the sport up. Or at least checking out. Hmm, time to start training for the 2010 olympics. Hey it could happen.

Eh, I enjoy playing bocce and shuffleboard (which I am sure you have played from time to time at the bar), and curling is basically bocce on ice.
Any game that is played at a lazy enough pace to include drinking is ok by me.
