Before we get too excited about Seattle, lets look at this.

Not counting the Indy game where Indy rested everyone....Seattle played 3 playoff teams and went 1-2 against them. The 1 win was in OT.

They lost to Jacksonville and Washington and beat the Giants in OT.

They play in one of the worst divisions in football.
They beat SF twice..WOW
StLouis twice...WOW
and Arizona twice.....WOW

They beat Houston...WOW
beat Tennessee...WOW
beat Dallas on a last sec INT which never shouldve been thrown
beat Philly....WOW

Quality win against Atlanta

This is one highly overrated team whose stats are overinflated by a hard to believe easy schedule. Now they are still the best team in the NFC but not by a whole lot and they are not as good as ANY of the 6 AFC playoff teams. Sorry Hawk fans

so what you're saying is when a team comes back in the fourth quarter that should not count as a win?

1 - they missed a fg at the end of regulation that could've won the washington game, so if you want to take awy the NY win, then you have to give us the WA win using your logic
2 - that was a quality win against dallas, great comeback and Dallas didn't have the game won when he threw that pick, it was tied and headed to overtime
3 - they had the lead for most of the game against NY, sure they got real lucky, but they were the better team that game up untill the final 2 minutes and since you don't want to count the Dallas win because Seattle made a comback
4 - 2 rookie LB's and 4 starters injured on defense and still are 4th in points against.
5 - Best OL in football
6 - No NFC QB is as good as Hasselback
7 - Alexander
8 - yes, they had an easy schedule but they didn't make it, they played the games they were given and won more games then anyone else
9 - the only team that's proven themselves to be better then Seattle is NE, yes Indy is great, but they lost at home to a non-playoff team

The fact of it all is Seattle has been a bad franchise for a long time. People don't have respect for them and most people think that Seattle is in Alaska. This is the process that franchises go through to become champions. They got a great coach, probowl players and they've been in the playoffs a few years. Now with that experience they need to turn some heads in the playoffs. Most people didn't watch Seattle at all, and they see the highlights of Feely missing those kicks and they just assume NY beat up on us. Also, yes they lost 2 road games to playoff teams, but they're the only team in the playoffs that didn't lose to a non-playoff team. And to say that all the AFC playoff teams are better then Seattle is absurd, pull your head out.

Sorry Ice but you are showing too much ignorance for me to take you seriously any longer.

Said it before, will say it again. Seattle is the most overrated team in all of football. They're going to get hammered if they come up against a team that bothers with minor details like run defence. Not just beat, hammered. A lousy division in a weak conference makes a lot of people look real good. Tiki is 10 times the back Alexander is. Like someone said..."There are lies, damn lies, and statistics."

Now dont get me wrong I dont want to dis-credit Alexander, hes a good back. But overall, Seattle just wont able able to hang with any AFC team that goes to the Super Bowl.

Tiki is 10 times the back? are you high? he's good but no one is 10 times better then Alexander. I'm really disappointed in the ignorance being displayed here. Redhouse, stick with poker because you know nothing about football. I could agrue this all season with you but I don't have the patience for such stupidity. I'm done with this, i'll watch the games and maybe you guys will catch a Seahawk game. If not, well ignorance is your bliss in this instance. goodbye to you and to BTP for awhile.

If you come back to BTP and continue to call people names, then it will be your last time coming back here.

Good luck to your team.

hmm.. guess the way I said that was bound to piss someone off.

Anyway, of course 10 times is an exaggeration. Tiki probably isnt even 5 times better than ME. I still think he's better than Alexander and that the Seahawks are wildly overrated... but since flame wars are frowned upon here, lets just let it rest at that.

Good luck for the playoffs...
