Quote

"In terms of life experience? Well, I have always been the type of guy that will try just about anything once, and I can't imagine going through life without experiencing parenthood. It seems as if I would be missing out on a very large and significant part of the human experience if I chose to never have children. "

Fixed it for you.

I respect your opinion on the matter, but the try everything once attitude when it comes to kids is hilarious. Is their a return policy on kids that I haven't been told about? Can I trade it in for a better model if the one I got is deffective?

J_L:

We seem to have some kind of fundamental disconnect. I stand by my original post and I do not wish to engage in further debate over the extent and time framing of "try something once" and the attendant responsibilities for one's actions. This post took a very unexpected direction.

I hear ya Edad. It's the kind of wackiness that happens when it comes to disagreements over things like this. No hard feelings of course and I'd like to thank you for making my workday interesting.
