sums up pretty well my major pet peeve with the World Cup and professional soccer in general.
In-game replay might not be tenable, but I'd definitely like to see a post-game review where obvious floppers get suspended from the next game. And there should be 1 or 2 more refs.

Agree....it makes me not like watchig soccer...Robin Williams did it best in his 'live on broadway' bit about those pussies. They lie down like they powdered their ankle...then get up and keep playing as nothing happened...u know why? Cuz nothing DID happen...friggen pussies.

This is why the English Premiership remains the best and most exciting league in the football world (even though the Italians/Spanish etc are technically better) - that BS really makes me hate SO MANY of the other teams in the world.
