Does this Bug anyone else? or is it just me? Taking Surveys

My gosh, these days you have to take a freakin survey or questionairre for everything!
Call some office...you gotta have the patience of Job to get thru the maze of questions...sometimes it seems there IS no correct number for what you want.
press 1 if you want to get a form
press 2 if you want to talk to a level 2 person
press 3 if you want to talk to Cactus Jack
press 4 if you want to start all over again
press 0 (ahh, this is the one i've been waiting for) if you want to disconnect (arggh)

what about talking to a LIVE person you idiot robot!?

Sometimes i press 0 right away...hoping to get an operator...usually it doesn't work, they've caught on to this one...sometimes i try #...usually doesn't work.

Go to fill up with gas...i just want to pay with my card and go on...not make TWO trips to the inside...NOPE...GOT TO TAKE "OUR Freakin survey 1st Rube!

Ok, this reminds me of getting a bottle of flavored water...i paid a flippin BUCK for it...water is more than a can of freakin BEER! And twist the top and start to drink....NOPE, YOU DUMMY...you must take the water survey...you must unscrew the entire cap, then with your TEETH (because your fingers are too big to grab that little hangy out part or there is none) to tear open the seal over the top of the bottle...this is like taking the water survey...are you with me here? Oh, for the days when we didn't have boogey men terrorists coming out of every closet and hiding in the BUSHes...when a fellow could just drink his dang water, get his gas and talk to a LIVE person.

I just got a call on the telephone on a SUNDAY night...the first words were "this is NOT a telemarketer calling...it gave me a 1,2,3...menu to choose from...i almost hung up, but turned out it WAS important...from the hospital...about my insurance...now just why couldn't a LIVE person have called me on Monday? This prompted this thread...i'm thinking about heading to Idaho or Montana and leaving all this behind...buying the little caibn in the woods...well, i might take my laptop with pc card with me...or to Costa Rica where it's still like the 1960's down there...
