I believe that the purpose of life is a spiritual (and scientific) understanding of the self and the reality that we occupy ... no particular religious leanings although I do try to incorporate as much as I can understand from all faiths into my own life. I believe that it's possible to misunderstand yourself and reality and that if this occurs, things need to be brought back into correct line internally.

I believe strongly that these things can be discussed by individuals, but only applied to your own self.

It's easier to point to my influences rather than try to explain it all myself ... in no particular order:

~ others but that kind of gives the point

Politically I believe that the less government, the better ... some will always be necessary. In today's climate I have faith that the government is intact and stable, but also too powerful, corrupt and deceitful.

I believe that all people make errors, and that all people can be understood and redeemed. I believe this occurs for a variety of reasons, some within the individuals control, and some not. I believe in trying to help (apeople who make a mess of things rather than judging them ... however recognize that a point does come where the only way to help is to "not help." (make sense?) Live and let live sort of thing. It seems to me that we all have strengths and weaknesses ... that I need help from others in areas of myself that I'm not okay enough on my own ... and that I have the ability to strengthen or support others in areas where they're not strong.

I'll leave it at that ... it feels kind of weird posting this ... I usually keep this kind of thing semi-private ... not because I'm ashamed of it ... just a little nervous about getting made fun of. So there it is. What I (try) to be about.
