Yeah...read it again...he said about the plane crash...and not everyone who would have been caught in the WTC was burned by the fire dood...there were bodies recovered in the wreckage...if you recall correctly...cuz I do.

When I was in the Army, I did a few things and saw a few things done that the general public definately doesnt need to know about.

The government lies to the public more than just a little. The general public "cant handle the truth". There is no need for a suburban mom to know what horrors are occurring all over the world to keep her and her minivan safe.

But all of the things that I saw that would shock the general public were done in the best interest of national security.

Nobody is ever going to convince me that the govenrment staged 9/11. Nobody is ever going to convince me that the government killed thousands of US citizens and other humans to start a war or for any other reason. There is just no way , no way , no way.

1) Why would Bush publicly admit that he had authorized the air force to shoot down a comercial airliner if need be...then actually shoot it down and then deny it?

2) I heard the phone call where the guy on that flight was talking to the operator about trying to overtake the hijackers. He said "lets do it" (or something like that) and then the plane went down a few seconds later. Did the Air Force just happen to shoot it down at that exact moment?

3) Why would Bush need to shoot down an airliner (which would cause unbelievable public outrage) if the government orchecstrated the whole 9/11 masacre? He wouldnt put himself in that position by planning to have one of the planes hit the White House

4) There are too many military officials that would have to know about this plot. Some of these people have dedicated their entire lives to protecting their country. There is no way these people would allow this and there is no way any government official would risk even mentioning a plan like this to anyone out loud.

5) You think these same military officials would allow a plane to hit the pentagon where their friends were?

I have a million more reasons why this is impossible to believe.
I know alot of you guys are Democrats and hate Bush. Im starting to dislike him a bit myself, but this talk is just patently ridiculous.

Oh, yeah. I seriously doubt that the Vice President would ever make a decision to shoot down a commercial airliner while the President was still alive and I doubt that AirForce One ever goes into complete radio silence.

Ice, I tend to agree with your point of view, but did you watch the video? It's interesting whether you agree with it or not, as for the phone call, the film says that it would have been impossible to make cell phone calls, again, I don't know if this is true or not because I don't know anything about cell technology, but it's certainly an interesting point. Although people arguing about it is pretty much a waste of effort because even if they are absolutely correct and it was some big government scheme, no one will ever know, I guarantee you no embarassing memo's would turn up about this one.
