Bodog is officially off my list of places I will ever play again. I made the mistake of depositing with a credit card last weekend cause it was the easiest way to get money on their site. Easy to get money on yes, getting money off if like getting a travel visa to Cuba. So in order to get money out you need to fax them a credit card verification form. Seems easy enough except that as part of the form you need a copy of the credit card front and back, a copy of your drivers license, a copy of a credit card bill and on the form its self you need to make an imprint of the credit card by running a pencil over it so the number, name, and expiration date are visible. I pay my CC bill online so I almost never get a paper copy luckily I had an old one. I went to work to make copies of everything, drive to kinkos and pay to fax this shit. I get home tonight to a email that the imprint is not readable on the fax and my cashout couldn't be processed. For fucks sake its a fax machine we aren't talking high image quality, try taking a piece of paper and making an imprint of a credit card that would be visible over a fax. Fucking scam to keep my money on there as long as possible. I tried their CS who basically said there was nothing they could do, they say its all for security. Shit its $450 its not like I'm cashing out a huge chunk of money. So one again fuck you bodog for making my life harder for no apparent reason.

I'm glad more people are on the anti-bodog bandwagon. They stole a bunch of money from a friend of mine. Their customer service is awful and they are responsible for Jaime Gold. Nuf said?

Sites that pull this kind of crap remind me of insurance companies ... very very willing to take your money, but suddenly the feet start dragging when it comes time to hold up their end of the bargain. Fugg em.

Maybe Bodog customer support would like a link to this thread to see the kind of reaction this kind of BS creates in their potential customers.

I don't think anyone minds having security measures in place ... but some sites are stupid about it. Bodog looks like one of them. Bet365 was another, although in the end they came through for me.

Here's my "Fuck Bodog" story for anyone who cares.

I signed on some time ago, and they gave some kind of bonus. I played for a short while, realized their site completely sucks ass, and wanted to leave. So I attempted to withdraw my funds, obviously without any of the bonus (which I had not yet cleared). I had to go through hell just to get the $500 in REAL cash that I had deposited. Even after telling them in e-mail "I forfeit the bonus, just withdraw my cash" they still would spout some bullshit about not being able to do so.

In short, Fuck Bodog and their shitty software and shitty CS.
