there are many things that can be done -- some drastic, some not so drastic.

one of the things that has impressed me the most with Tetsuo and Iceman is that they have always effectively handled the "big" modding issues with tact. i'm sure this matter will be handled similarly.

some more comments:

- i'm about to run off to work, but i think the relevant links in the VA Tech thread have been removed. please pm me or another mod if i'm incorrect -- i don't have time to check.

- if you are ever concerned about a post, please feel free to report the post using the red exclamation point located at the top right of each post. we get many of these reports and tend to act on them quickly.

- if you are concerned about a general trend -- as several people seem to be -- please contact ANY mod (the "green names" at the bottom of the top forum page) via PM and we'll bring it up with the other mods.

- if you don't mind mentioning something publicly, please feel free to make a post about your concern in the BTP FAQ, News and Support Requests forum.

The resounding question in everyones mind is...why'd he do it?

Well, there was this online poker forum, see where he was a moderator, which really didn't allow him to do alot but it was really important to him...and on the day of the rampage which left over 200 people dead, and which cut a swath across the minority neighborhoods in Los Angeles, he was de-modded. Before he finally committed suicide by putting his 12 guage up his ass and pullin the trigger in the middle of chinatown, he was quoted as saying 'It's all your fault BTP, you have tortured my soul and raped my conscience for he last time.' He also mentioned something about a website called meatspin.com. Not quite sure what that's about, Bob. But you probably don't wanna go there in front of the kiddles, eh? in any case, residents of chinatown are still loathe to come out into the street, as apparently his diet prior to the incident caused severe constipation, and the way in which he committed suicide resulted in what can only be called 'fecal disaster.' The streets of chinatown may never be the same.
