i have Callaway X14 irons , i find them excellent , forgiving and acurate.
i shoot low 90"s also i have tried a few others, the Taylor mades are ok , but not as great feeling as the Callaways.

I have a set of Taylor Made RACs - and older version (Lt) with the Rifle shafts. Just awesome, and I wouldn't switch to anything.

But what is going on in this industry?

ugliest thing I have seen!

Go to a golf center and hit some clubs, man. If you can't find a set that feels good, what kind of a golfer are you? There's something out there that will make you go, ooh.

Swing analyzers have gotten very good. Worth taking some time. Major investment.

I have Adams Idea irons. the 3 & 4 are hybrid irons, which makes them much easier to hit. As a set they are really forgiving and are designed to be easier to hit than other iron sets. i've had em for like a year and i love em. i shoot mid 90s when i'm in practice.

Make sure they're perimeter weighted cavity backs...and get custom-fitted, and just get what FEELS and HITS well. Take a LONG time to figure this out, and when you find something (this must all be done at a FULL driving range, hitting into nets will not do at all), wait and go back a week later and try them again.
