MVP, would you perhaps be confusing a margarita with a daquari?

Margarita uses tequila, definitely not gay if served on the rocks. Blended into one of those slurpee icee mixtures with fruity flavors, well then it becomes border line.

Daquari, uses rum I believe, may be gay since it's the favorite of so many women.

Gay or not, the man was asking for discussion on ways to drink alcohol without the taste of alcohol. A well made margarita served on the rocks is that drink. Now, the ones you chose to list, may or may not fit that description going down. But I doubt he's going to like the way they taste coming back up. Which if he drinks them the way you do, is exactly whats going to happen.

I doubt he's going to get anything but enjoyment (awesome buzz) out of a margarita.

P.S. If you are ever in Cartegena Colombia, and you want what we know as a Margarita, you better specify the "drink". Because if you don't, they bring you a pizza instead. The group I was with (US Navy) all ordered Margaritas and they brought us 8 pizzas! Sans the drinks we were looking for in the first place!

Not that Seb needs any help, but he is right on this one. Margaritas made properly are definately not gay. Margaritas made to make women think they are drinking daquiris are not just borderline, they are flaming-open-sore-on-the-rectum gay.

Take one large lime. Roll it on the counter under your palm with sufficient pressure to free the juice you are about to squeeze from it. Cut lime in half. With a citrus juicer, or if none is available, some cheesecloth, squeeze the juice from the lime, straining the pulp. Put the lime juice in a shaker. Add two shots of some decent, but not spectacular, tequila, such as sauza or hornitos. Add one ounce of Grand Marnier or Cointreau. Add ice. Shake vigorously but briefly. Take two appropriate glasses, wet the rims, dip them in coarse ground salt. Fill the glasses with ice, then pour your margaritas. Makes 2.

Recepies and handy hints for making gay ass blended fruit margaritias available on request.

Be glad your opponents refuse to fold; if they didn't, you just might go broke.
