Down almost 7 buy-ins lately (I buy in for $50 even though the max is $100). I was up more than that prior to this streak, this month, and after the bonus I will still be up, but this is f*cking crazy.

The most recent was this.

Limp AQ and call a weak 3x raise from an unknown with a 30 stack. 3 of us to the flop, one a very shortstack. Flop is KJT for my miracle nut straight, rainbow. Checks to pfr who throws out a weak CB, shortie pushes, I decide to fkat call because I'm not sure the PFR has enough to call a raise.

Turn is a T and I CR all-in and he calls with AA.

River is another T and he has his boat. Sigh....

Tribeca trying to make up for it, but it's too little too late

Limp [Tc] otb. Flop is [Ah][9c]. I count a bunch of outs and flat call a slight bet on the flop after soneone else calls, and we're 3-handed to the turn. Turn and the better pushes (he was short). I call of course and he has KJ for 2 pair. River is the completing the royal flush. My first one in a real money game (I had one for play money way way back in the day).

Finished the bonus, finally.

Total: -$336.04. But I was actually down way more than that at one point during the last session, probably $200 or so, so the total at the low point was around -$400. Never had an 8 buy-in downswing before, I don't think.

Thanks to Iceman for calling himself "tiltproof": I repeated that to myself a few hundred times, like a mantra, and mostly remained untilted myself. I did play more pots than I probably should have. And I made a few bluffs that would usually work anywhere but Tribeca. But I didn't do anything too stupid.

Tim's Yellow Post It on His Computer Re Tribeca:

1) RESPECT THEM. Yes they're idiots, but idiots hit monsters too. If they raise out of no where, chances are they just hit a weird two pair.

2) Just avoid big pots without the nuts/near nuts. You're monsters will get paid off. Wait for those.
